View Full Version : XP urlmon.dll problem

When I boot up I get the following message
stop c0000221(bad image checksum)
the image urlmon.dll possibly corrupt
the header check sum does not match
the computed check sum
This just keeps cycling,starting the boot process again. Please help.

How long has this been going on? Do you remember if you installed anything new or upgraded anything?
Try doing a system restore by restarting the computer.
As soon as the startup info turns to a blank black page tap the f8 key.
Windows advanced options should appear.
Using the up/down keys select "Last known good configuration and press enter.
Hopefully this will get you back up again.

I would imagine it was fixed since it was over 1.5 years ago.
