Page fault in Excel and word (WXP-Pro)

I am using Win 98 SE On compaq and MS Office 2000.Recently some problem came and I had to format the hard drive. My Master drive then became slave and vice versa.
Now I am getting this message on using any word or Excel program " invalid page fault in module MS 07...."
What should I do now?
