Recently ,after being hijacked and running Spybot and ad-aware, I have been unable to connect to the internet using Internet Explorer. I can ping my default gateway and some web sites (i.e. sears.com...) but not others (including my IP server). I can still connect through other browser but IE yields the error message "The Page cannot be displayed"- IE or DNS error. I tried resetting Ithe web settings on IE, reinstalling IE, and even ran a repair installation of Windows XP... but have had no luck in fixing this problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
