Troulbshooting WordPad/"test.txt"

Report 2, I pasted this "test.txt" and it saved as a text file. It did not try to merge to registry. It still saves documents as what looks like a .reg file & tries to merge to registry when I try to save any other text. Like I said, it does not merge because Windows rejects it....it knows it's not a .reg script file.
Again, thank for the help. HouseCall did not find any viruses.
