Hello to all!
I need to know if I need to go to ADD/Remove and uninstall;"Windows 98SE Uninstall Information"? I believe it's saved settings from before I ran my 98 disc.
Report 2, HouseCall is working...great! It has been a month since it would scan. I think I got something right here.
Thanks much!

You can, but you don't need to unless you are really pressed for HD space. If I had a large HD with lots of vacant real estate I'd leave it be.

Tom,
I have a 4.1 GB. hard drive. I am using 1.70 and have 2.30 free space. No, I don't need the room....I don't save big videos or lots of MP3's, and CD's to my H. drive.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Trimmer /images/forums/icons/smile.gif if you're happy with your current windows setup & do not want to go back to the old one, I'd uninstall in add/remove because it will slow you down having dead wood on board, anyhow you can always run your Win98se disc through again /images/forums/icons/crazy.gif if you need to restore the current setup, heck Win98se is better than Win98 first edition ... Good Luck & Stay Cool

Yeah, about 170MB. of "dead wood"!
I''m going to go with what "Tom" said & keep it untill I get my new PC next month, I have 2.2 GB. free space. I'm so afraid it will crash Hally. I can't do without my best friend, besides, I couldn't talk to people like you in Australia.
