<a target="_blank" href=http://www.iranvision.com/bushdance.html>http://www.iranvision.com/bushdance.html</a> is the clickable link.

The music is a .mid file.

My only thought is if you were using your soundcard when you opened the page then it was already in use at that time so even if you shutdown whatever it was that you were using for then it still will not produce the .mid file's sound.

If this is the case then you need to shutdown whatever it is using your soundcard prior to opening that page that will then call on your soundcard and it will then be available.

HTH

This one uses a .wav file instead of a .mid file.

That was a .wav file.

<a target="_blank" href=http://home.comcast.net/~bryconow/midtest/midtest.html>Try this one it is a .mid file</a>. "Still loving you" by the Scorpions.

If that one does not work then you are missing the plugins for .mid files. I don't know how you can get them though. I understand that running an IE repair can fix it but don't know for sure.
I do not have WinXP so I don't know exactly how to do that in XP but in Win98SE I can go to Start, Run, msinfo32, Tools, Internet Explorer repair tool.

Perhaps another can advise how to run the IE repair tool in WinXP.
