Hello!

I have a problem accessing my machine via http, i have launched the http server on my machine which has an IP address: 192.168.0.37, I can access http://192.168.0.37 with Firefox or Opera but MS Internet Explorer cannot access it, i recive connection refused message after some time.
I think that this might be some security settings on IE that do that.
Any suggestions?

Did you check your proxy settings? You might need to set it separately for IE.

Did you mean Tools>Options>Conenctions>LAN Settings in IE by "proxy settings" if you did than there is nothing set there.
And how to set it separately for IE ?

Are you using dialup or broadband? From home or office?

Try calling your ISP - usually they would be able to assist quite easily if the problem is the setting. Since you can access via other browsers, the connection per se doesn't seem to be at fault..
