I would like to know what i can put inside an explorer bar. can i put graphics, html, html containing javascript...? Can anyone tell me where i can find such information

Rolasa, I am sorry for my ignorance but I read your post three times and still do not understand what you mean by inserting into the Explorer bar.

Do you mean, can you insert a path into the Windows Explorer's Address bar or any path to locate any file such as:
C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\GF0PER0Z\logo.gif
Then yes but in the above case where the file extension is .gif then it will open in the program that I have associated with .gif files that is not Windows Explorer for me.

The same is true for Internet Explorer's Address bar but it does have the ability to display the .gif image and will.

The address bar is exactly that. Where does the file reside or what is it's address.

I'm sorry for not being clear. I am making my own explorer bar (something like what you get when you press on the history button in internet explorer) and I wanted to know the range of things that I can put inside it other than buttons and text boxes.
