popup ads and spywares (W2K)

hello people,

please help me coz i'm sick of this :(

i keep getting popup windows and ads in my pc. i installed ad-aware to remove the spywares from my pc, it found some files and deleted them but i'm still getting those popups especially from GAIN and ads1.revenue.net :( i need an effecient way to remove spywares permanently from my pc. please advise.

In addition to Ad-aware you should be running Spybot Search & Destroy and Spyware Blaster (this one blocks the bad guys from getting into your system. Both are freeware and can be downloaded from <a target="_blank" href=http://snapfiles.com>SnapFiles</a>.

Also the Google toolbar that can be added to IE has a pretty good popup blocker.

Keep in mind that all this stuff helps, but some ads and spyware still get through.
