URGENT - Unable to change Display settings (W98)

Hey all,

I rebooted my computer this morning and for some reason the display settings had changed. I normally have it on 800 x 600 with true colour, but for some reason it was on 640 x 480 with 16 colours, so I went to display settings and tried to change it, clicked restart, then when it rebooted it was still the same, i've chosen the option of not having to reboot to change the settings but nothing happens.

I've tried on several occassions to change the settings various ways, but for some reason nothing happens.

I've got a Samtron 55E monitor, with a rage pro turbo agp x2 8mb graphics card, if this info is of any help.

PLEASE can someone help me I am frustrated at looking at things in 16 colours!!!

You probably need to re-install the software/drivers for video/display adapter. You should have the CD that came with the card or if the adapter is built-in on the motherboard the drivers will be with the CD that came with it.
