msconfig and regedit both crash after 1 second (W98)

When I use run or click on the exe, they start up and then are gone right away. I ctrl+alt+del and they aren't still running. I really need to run those 2 programs.

Run a full virus scan. If that doesn't fix it you'll need to use a HiJack This log. You have a virus.
