I hope someone can help me.I have a few NT boxes acting a Kiosk. It have come to my attention some people are using these kiosk to browse the internet by lauching another IE Window. Is there any Regedit I can perform that will only allow 1 IE window to be open at any given time.
Either that or disable the "Open In New Window" function
All the boxes run NT 4.0 with IE 5.0.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Sounds like you need the IEAK, Internet Explorer Admin. Kit and make a custom build. It's available from MS. It allows many customizations to the IE image.

How are they launching the 2nd window.
If you provide a shortcut icon, they can certainly use that, to prevent it, put IE in the startup folder.

You should be able to disable the 'Open in New Window' option by using the 'NoBrowserContextMenu' option found at http://www.regedit.com/detail/442.html there are also quite a few other restrictions which you might find useful as well.
