I have An AC'97 5.1 Surround Sound Audio chipset, Running the latest drivers straight from Abit. Whenver I attempt to play music in my Win98se distro it simply blurs and plays really slow. This also happens w/ sounds in older games that I run in compatibility mode, like Might and Magic 7...it will take 5 minutes for an elf to say "Hey, how are you?" I have my settings configured properly and I've reinstalled the drivers. I also run WinXP Pro on this box and I have no issues, so I don't think it's my hardware. Any ideas or suggestions?
