unwanted links and ads

I've recently been plagued by links highlighted in orange (sponsered links) and ads for evidence removers that show up sometimes when I try to access certain pages. Ad-Aware couldn't get rid of them and I don't know of any other ways to solve this problem. This is happening on IE v6.0.

That software is pretty good in removing any online link/ads
