I'm using the same software I've always used to burn CD's but now both Windows Media Player and the Real Player won't recognize the tracks on CDs I've burned recently. They will recognize the tracks on CDs I burned before reformatting the HD and downloading the latest Windows updates. The only other things I've done is update the Winmx software to version 3.53 and downloaded/installed a couple of digital sound recorders. I can play the CDs I've burned on any CD player but both Media Players show the same discs as blank. Has something been changed in the registry? Was this done when I updated XP? Anyone have a clue what's causing this?
