No more than five days ago, I was perfectly capable of opening ftp pages, uploading files, &c. However, as of lates, I rarely (if ever) can access ftp pages (and I have checked with the servers I am trying to access to make sure it was a problem on my end), and even when I do, operations usually time out quickly, and I am unable to upload large files before timing out.

Here's the error message I get when I try to get to an ftp:// page:

An error occurred opening that folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to access that folder.

Details:
The operation timed out

I have a fully updated version of Spybot, and there seems to be no unusual activity as of lates. However, no matter how many times I purge my system, a recurring problem by the name of "Hellz Little Spy" reappears as soon as I log back in. While I'm sure this isn't healthy, it's not unusual, as it has been happening for the past 2 or 3 months and has had no effect on anything I've noticed.

Also, if I create a new User Account on my computer, I will have momentary access to FTP sites, but after about an hour or so, the problem arises on the new account.

Anyway, not being able to access FTP is really hurting development, so I'd like to have this fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Not sure what's going on with your FTP connections, but here is a link to get rid of <a target="_blank" href=http://www.pestpatrol.com/pestinfo/h/hellz_little_spy.asp>Hellz Little Spy</a>

Note: Pest Patrol offers a manual removal procedure right below the sales pitch.
