Re your Startup2 post--you have a handle on the places where startup programs are launched.

As far as those entries you mentioned:
1. kernel32.dll - core Win OS
2. msgsrv32.exe - core Win OS
3. mprexe32.exe - not sure; I think it handles Dial-up -- check the Microsoft knowledgebase
4. mmtask.tsk - not sure about the .tsk extension, but mmtask.exe is your task scheduler
5. explorer.exe - core Win OS
6. internat.exe - you must have some international settings like keyboard set
7. systay.exe - systray, actually -- core Win OS
8. taskmon.exe - Task Scheduler kernal

Can't tell you what to delete because only you can know what you need to run your system. If you're worried about trojans, or viruses or something, get an anti-virus program.

By the way, I'm sure you wouldn't want to offend the sensibilities of this forum--so please change your user name to phonetically spell out two letters which are not quite so offensive.
