Enabling Java applets (WME)

My friend is running Win ME. When she accesses bingo.com and tries to play the flower child bingo game she gets a message. To play game you must have Java applets enabled in your preferences. I went through all the security settings in IE Tools/InternetOptions. They seem fine. I uninstalled then reinstalled Java Virtual Machine. from a CD I made and it installed. Still not working. I went to the web site and downloaded their version. still the same message. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try going to Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced. At the bottom you'll see a "Restore Defaults" button. Click that, click Apply, then OK.

If that doesn't work, then download the following file from Microsoft. I found this file the long way around, and it enabled my Java to work fine.
