This forum and others like them across the net are filled with pleas (some from pretty hep PC users and even from IT professionals) about this or that strain of malware and "how do I get rid of it?"
Imagine how a newbie must feel: betrayed?, lost?, desperate?
A friend and myself have spent a good deal of the last two years playing "malware catcher" on the PC's of friends and associates, so much time that we decided in the interest of newbies everywhere, to offer them a service to help. Real help, not just advice... It's too soon to place an order for a yacht (WAY TOO SOON) but we're doing pretty well, already needing some more techs, and also considering authorizing other people in other areas to "spread the good news". I don't want to break any forum rules by posting a URL, but if anyone wants it, email me at kahuna@harpervance.com, and I'll give you the URL.
Don't respond if you're looking for a new piece of software, or some kind of get-rich scheme. We're just trying to do some good for PC users.
