Hi,
For some reason, whenever I try to check my mail with Outlook Express, the thing eventually freezes up the whole system. I have uninstalled and udated (from Microsoft site) and still no changes. The same thing happens when I try to use Internet Explorer. When the 'Critical Updates' window pops up, that's the end of that. While on other browsers, the problem doesn't occur.
I have run virus checks (regularly updated), scandisk, and adware programs (regularly updated), which haven't come up with anything significant. I have also tried to minimise the number of programs in my startup. My system is run with a 2.4 Ghz processor and 256 mb RAM. What could be the problem?
Thank you in advance to the expert who can help me on this.
