Hi there
I have been given a laptop that is running Taiwan chinese as its default language.

How can I change this so that it becomes English Language only, as I can't read Chinese!!

I don't mean the 'Word' or 'Explorer' program languages - the whole operating system (ME) runs in Chinese. All the on screen buttons are in Chinese and I can't see how to convert Chinese ME into English ME.

Help appreciated
Thanks

I don't think you can change it, probably need to wipe the hard drive with fdisk and install 'clean' with the version desired. Might be a good time to go to Win2000 or WinXP.
