Something happened to my network where computers were sending out large amounts of data to each other and bogging down our network, so I had to format many computers and it fixed the problem. Now I face another problem, all these computers that I formated (run win2k) access a program on a win nt server very slowly. The connection is fine between them, able to transfer files across the network at good speeds, but when it comes to accessing data from the server through this program the speed is very slow. I was watching how many bytes were being recieved/sent as the program was starting and it was incrementing extremely slow, as the computers that weren't affected are able to get get data from the server much faster. I've tried everything I can possibly think of, but cannot figure out why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Win2k clients and NT server is always a problem..

Did you set the Sendt LM and NTLM responses?
If not:
Start->Run->MMC, open secpol under system32 and set the feature..

Just because you're not paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after you..
