For some reason I cannot access my address book any more. It will not launch from the shortcut I have used since installing 2000 or if I go to START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/ADDRESS BOOK. I have installed a few of uncle Bills security updates lately and suspect that may be it but danged if I know how to solve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd do a file search for *.wab, see if the Address Book file is still there. There's also a backup of *.wa~

Thank you for the reply. A search does show the file is still there and the *.wa~ but I don't know how to get either one to do anything

Double-clicking the .wab file should open Windows Address Book.

Thank to wonderful microsuck it was one of their so called security updates that screwed it up. Heck of a note when you have to go hacking around in the registry to fix something the so call experts sent out.
