For some reason my quicklaunch toolbar has shifted position from beside the start button over to the system tray, i.e. moved from the left of the screen to the right. Now my minimized programs/folders appear to the left of quicklaunch, rather than to the right. I've tried to move it back but it just won't budge. Please help!

First, right-click the Taskbar and if there's an entry for Lock the Taskbar, uncheck it.
Second, move the mouse to the faint vertical line at the left end of the Quick Launch bar and when it turns to a double-ended arrow, click and drag it to the left. Or click on the vertical line on the left end of the main bar by the right side of the Start button and drag it to the right. The two bars should swap positions and then can be resized.

All you had to do is drag from the handle to the left of the START button & drag it right - job done & its easier & quicker, but you've sorted it now, which is the main thing.
