I had this XP Professional computer on a domain. I removed it from the domain to a workgroup. Now I can not access shares on it from other workgroup computers. I have tried to login as \computer\username and password. The user has permissions to the share. Im I missing something or is there a way to reset permissions from a active directory domain workstation to a workgroup workstation

It turned out to be a problem with Norton Anti Virus changing a registry value. Here is the KB Article that I used to fix it.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;177078
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\LanmanServer\Parameters
for an IRPStackSize value.
If the key is not present, choose Add Value in the Registry Editor. The Value Name should be IRPStackSize and the Data Type is REG_DWORD.
If lower than the WinXP default value of 15 increase to 15. Otherwise increase the value by 3, reboot and try to connect again. If this does not work increase again by 3 and reboot.
