Hi,
We have a FileMaker Pro runtime application that will not run on 2 out of 100 Windows PCs.
When logged in as an Administartor it runs o.k. but logged in as the user it says it has generated errors etc and closes again.
The user has administrative privelages already which doesn't add up but hey ho...
We have also created a new prile for the user but still same results.
The only thing I am wondering now is if these 2 computers have something set in a local policy as the only difference about these 2 PCs to the rest of the building is that they used to belong to a different company and so logged onto a different domain controller. Thats the only difference.
Perhaps resetting all local policies to a default setting may help. Although I have no idea how to do this and I really dont want to go the long way round and format the hard drive and start again !!

Any helo would be much appreciated !!

If the computer is part of your domain then GPOs from the DC should override any local GPOs.
