View Full Version : Wrong Drive 3-1/2(B:) information (W2K)

In my windows 2k control panel, I see two floppy drives: 3-1/2(A:) and 3-1/2(B:),even though I have disabled the drive B (5-1/2) in BIOS setting.I dont want to see this wrong entry 3-1/2(B:) in control panel.
any solution...?

Does it show in Device Manager? Can you remove it or disable it in DM? Does the drive actually exist in the computer? May have to disconnect the data cable in addition to disabling in the BIOS.

as u queried, following are the details:
this particular drives is not available in DM.so it is not possible to remove or disable it in DM.
even the drive does not exist physically in P/C.
if u have any solution or suggestion .. pls reply.

In which of the Control Panel applets does the drive letter show up? My Control Panel has no drive icons themselves but they do show under Add New Hardware, System, etc.
