can any one tell me where files that hold all the installation information of a prgram are stored. Such as date of installation & such. Are they registry files or something else. Much Appreciated.

If you are referring to a demo or trialware software then those keys are stored inthe registry in a very obscure way so that you can not find or delete them for obvious reasons.

If this is the reason you are asking then...
The best approach would be to contact the maker of the program through email or their website. Explain to them that you did not have enough time to try their software. Keep it simple. Tell them that you just want to give it a try.

It was their original desire for you to 'try' their software. They believe that if you try it you will buy it. If they won't let you try it then you certainly won't buy it.

They will likely provide you a key to reinstate the trial period.

If you are asking for another reason then perhaps someone else can provide a better answer.

well...
wanna know when you installed a certain program, all what you have to do is to select and view the properties of the program's folder, and will find the date of installation/creations
