I have what seems like an unusual problem as googling and the MS kb doesn't give me an answer. Ever since I started working with VisualStudio trying to learn about .NET applications, normal internet access from my machine (IE, Mozilla, Mail, even ping), and the other machines sharing the internet connection, just stops all-of-a-sudden for no apparent reason.
'ipconfig /all' shows everything to be normal, all services are still running, event viewer shows nothing that seems relevent, and both nic's are still enabled and appear to be operating OK. Just I cannot get any traffic in or out of the system.
Anybody have any ideas - I don't know where to look now. (I'm thinking maybe something like a session time-out in the .NET or IIS configuration somewhere got activated somehow and when it times-out shuts off my connection somewhere?? - just an uneducated guess.)
