Enable file and print shares? (W2K)

Anyone know how to enable file and print shares remotely? I have a whole office of machines that have this disabled and I'm trying to push out SMS clients to them. I have tried using snetcfg.exe in login scripts but it doesn't seem to work. Also tried to use snetcfg.exe in combination with psexec.exe, which also didn't work. Is there a simple reg hack for this?
