We are using Norton Ghost 2003 to image XP Pro machines. Sometimes the user profile we have set up is not recognized. In fact, what we see are two Administrator profiles. It's like the original Admin profile may be there along with a new Admin profile that gets built the first time we log in after the image is installed. The file foldes are all still there for the original user profile, but you can not see the profile within the profile management area. The profile we are using is for a network login that usually becomes available after the machine is added into the microsoft domain.

Any ideas why this is happening or how we can salvage the profile since the folder structure is still there.

Thanks,
Steve

Are you running GHSTWALK.exe or SYSPREP when you install your image?
