Hi,
I've recently begun working in this company and we have SQL 2000 server set on Win2000 Server. Just recently I've found out that, while browsing shared folders, certain users are authenticated as GUEST in My Computer-->Manage-->Shared Folders. Those users *have* their usernames created on the 2000 Server, but still they don't logon under their account.
A related problem may also be the following: Only one of those "GUEST" users also has a problem with accessing the database on SQL Server (which is the same machine). Other "GUEST" users have no problem browsing shared folders and no problems accessing database. This one user, however, gets the following error:
State=28000
Native Code=18456
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'LEA\Guest'.
I hope that's enough info to start :) I'd appreciate any help!
TNX in advance!
