Recently accessed files, URLs, etc., show up in my registry. Can I disable any and all sorts of history tracking in the registry using regedit?

The registry paths of concern are as follows:
1)
HKey_current_user/software/microsoft/windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/ComDlg32/OpenSaveMRU/*/

2) HKey_current_user/software/microsoft/InternetExplorer/Typed URLs/

3) HKey_current_user/software/microsoft/windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/ComDlg32/LastVisited/MRU/
