Ive installed Windows XP Professional on my home computer. I use RASPPPOE to dial sbcglobal (their dialer is crap). Having just purchased a laptop, I wanted to use a hard-wired connection to let them both share the DSL modem. So, I pulled out an NR041 Router I used for a cable modem connection a couple of years ago, hooked up the desktop, ran the router configuration program, got a "congrats" message, and finished the installation. Now, when I tried to dial out using RASPPPOE it gives an error that it cannot connect to the DSL Modem. Am I missing something here? All I want is to use the router to connect both computers to the Internet.
