Won't shut down with router

My computer won't shutdown when the router (D-Link) is powered - actually it shuts down then immediately reboots. The only way I can turn it off completely is to power down the router.

Ideas??

A bit of a guess, but check your PC BIOS for a "wake on lan" setting and set it to disabled. May also be a "wake on ring" disable it too.

I actually have the same problem, but never thought it was the router. I updated my chipset drivers and it seemed to fix the problem.
