Although we have not tried to domote our Windows 2000 Server AD Controller, we are getting Error 1396, "Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect."
From the information I have gathered, this is common after either demoting an AD controller or replicating the AD database to another machine, but I have done none of this. This just started happening!
Not only that, but it only happens on some machines, not all. I can map network drives on some client machines; others say Logon Failure blah, blah, blah.
Help! I can offer more information if necessary. Thanks in advance.
