I have a number of pc in my building and use ghost imaging to configure as new and sometimes if they are currupt and need the os re-installed.
I have an image file for one particular model pc, which has an nvidia graphix card. The problem is that I have the same model pc, but at some point the manufacturer changed the spec from nvidia to intel. Not sure how many of these pc's have a diffent graphix card, but I can't use this image file on this particular pc and I don't have an mage file for an Intel version.
I'd rather not start from scratch and re-install windows, as the image also contains all the necessary software requirements and configurations .
I was wondering if there is a way of removing the nvidia drivers from the pc via command prompt, like the recovery consol from the installation cd.
At the moment after re-imaging the pc with the image for the nvidia card, I get a blue screen before I can even un-sysprep the image onto the machine.
If I could remove the nvidia setting so the pc boots up and has default video card settings I could reinstall the correct intel ones later!
Any help on this would be great!
