Recently, I switched to cable isp from dialup isp, removed modem from winxppro and wireless nic that was being used for ics and installed wired nic for the broadband, now cannot seem to make file downloads work, including windows updates, virus scan updates, and just about any file download > 175k .
Anyway somewhere stored is the old drivers and services, although i tried to take them out and even deleted the associated files, to no avail...
can someone help me, microsoft, IBM (where i got xp) and ISP are zero help.
