==The first response to this problem were not answered correctly enough==

I recently downloaded this weird little screen saver program that I thought would be a neat little thing to have. But I didnt like it. So I deleted it. It always used to start up in the taskar everytime I booted up the computer...But now this program pops up and searches for the screen saver program. It will not find it because it's not there. I looked in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent Version\Run and it's not there. It's not in win.ini, system.dat, or user.dat. Any ideas as to where this search program is running from?
Any knowledge to this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
DuneTime
(what I need is detailed answers as to how I can find out why this search program is running everytime the computer boots up)
Thanks.

The first response--i.e., MY response was answered quite "accurately" I think you'll find there's nothing sloppy about the answers posted here.
