This may be a little off subject, but I figured you scritping gurus may know the most about WMI. I have a Win 2000 server SP4 that the WMI service (winmgmt) fails to start. The only message I get is that "The service did not report an error."
Any ideas how to fix this? Can this be reinstalled? It is really bad becasue I cannot use WMI for anything. This started after uninstalling SMS 2.0 and then doing a clean install of SMS 2003. Now I can't use SMS at all.
