Network synchronisation windows - linux HELP (All)

Hi

I've got a problem finding the right tools or code for synchronize 2 directorys over network

It's for a schoolwork and i have no id how to do this job

So i'am looking for a tool or code that can make a tcp connection to a linix pc at eny givven port and is able to transfer files

On the Linux side I use netcat so i am looking for an compatible windows side tool or script

any suggestions ?
