Win XP Pro on a Win Nt4 server (WXP-Pro)

I have several Win XP clients connecting to a Win Nt4 SP6a server. On the clients I have some mapped drives on the server. When I on a client computer try to explore a mapped network drive it takes up to 2min the first time to browse the network drive after that it works fine. Then after a while the same problem apperes. I triy to browse a network drive and nothing happens for ap. 2min the I can browse witout problem agine. This ptoblem only apperes on the Win XP pro clients not on the Win 2k and win98se clients.

Can someone help me.

Try Microsoft Knowledge base, and Microsoft TechNet. These are known issues and you must go to them and specify issue for solutions and work arounds. Just so you know, MS wants everyone to get up to date...........2000 and 2003 servers. Just to let you know going into this that you may see that as solution a few times before getting to something you are looking for. Hope this helps.

You say that this is known issues, but I can´t find anything about this on any of microsofts sites:-(
