View Full Version : All browsers crash when on a JS page (WXP-Home)

This started appearing just the other day. I have run the latest virus defs and it found some viruses that it quarantined. However, I still have the problem. Basically, in IE, Mozilla, or Opera, any time you try accessing a page with JavaScript on it, the app crashes. Turning off JS avoids this, but obviously this isn't a serious option. I tried System Restore, but that app also crashes after pressing the "restore to an earlier time" button. I can't even get the latest Win Updates because IE crashes at the site, which requires JS.

There must be some fundamental problem with some files(s) that have to do with accessing JavaScript in all three browsers that is causing this.

Surely someone has some knowledge of this problem?
