I have Windows XP-Home. I am having a problem with my graphics not showing up,like a resolution problem. It is not a driver issue. I have been in contact with Intel and the drivers are all updated and should be working, but they aren't. Intel says I need to contact the developer of my operating system, but I thought I would try here first. Intel also suggested reinstalling Windows XP. I thought I would use that as a last resort, naturally. I do have screen captures of what my desktop should look like, and what it looks like now,and what the properties dialog box is saying, if you go to this link.

any help is appreciated,

This would have been better posted in the Windows XP section.
Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgement
The picture shows what graphics card is installed. But thats about it , no idea if thats the one you need.
Xp does have a few nice features like roll back the driver. Another option would be to boot into safe mode
delete the driver then reboot and see what xp comes up with.
But to pinpoint what might be the problem is impossible without more info on the system.
Maybe you have another video card installed, or those are the wrong drivers ? You can use to get some more info. Also this (http://www.aida32.hu/aida32-download.php>) is a good place to start a search for drivers.
This is of some help with these drivers
