when I go to print a document, my computer bogs down. On the status in the print icon it will read printing 9 of 1 pages or 20 of 0 pages. It may print or it will give a "performed an illegal operation" error and lock up. I encountered this problem a couple years ago and for the life of me can't remember what was the cause and what I did to fix it. I have uninstalled my printer and software, reinstalled and gone through everything I can think of to fix the problem. This appeared (I think) after I had downloaded Adobe Reader 6 and then uninstalled it because it wasn't working correctly.
