Urgent Questions ! SOS (WME)

Hi Guys,
I've two questions . the first is how to restore the lost desktop icons ? where I clicked an unknown (*.exe) file and all the icons which were on the desktop were deleted or as to say ( eliminated or hidden ) Perfectly ... Now , I got unable to browse my computer or access the disks .. I read once something about hiding and unhiding the desktop icons at this website but I'm not sure where it is ... My second questions is : how to force windows to automatically fix the errors reported while the disk check process after improper shutdown ?
I hope you all think deeply in those troubles ..... because now I'm unable to use my computer and access my files ..

try right clicking on the desktop and then follow the options and itll say what icons u want to put there.

if u have a registry backup use that.

Actually , I don't have a backup of my registry . Also , Right clicking on the desktop isn't the right way for solving that trouble .. I assume that the values of those icons in the registry were completely deleted ..So , Don't you know how to restore those values or add them again into the registry ?
In addition, what's about answering the second trouble ? Can you please help me in solving it ?
