A bit of a stab in the dark but check your IE cipher strength. If it's not 128 that's your problem and you will need to download the high encryption pack from MS. To check it open IE and go to help, about IE.
i have the same problem. i've already download any tools for the cipher 128 bit, but the problem still have.
i try to find the problem from the regedit, but nothing i could find.
i installed a netscape, it can work.
so i think it's the problem of IE.
i really don't want to reinstall the system
could anyone tell me, what can i do???
:(
I am set @ 128 encryption, the thing was fixed for a few days and now it has returned to the same way. It seems it won't let me access anything to do with Microsoft ( MSN, Hotmail, Secured pages,etc...)
It seems really crazy to me.

You may want to try repairing your IE6 installation. For those using an OS earlier than Windows XP, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Double click Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Tools.Select Repair Internet Explorer & hit Ok. This will fix any detected errors in your IE6 installation. Reboot for the changes to take effect.
Repairing/Adding Components to IE6
To repair (or add features to IE6)
Make sure you have the source files from the same location they were installed
Do a Start / Run / rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance
You will then be given the options to Add a Component or Repair
i've already done it, but nothing change

Another stab in the dark: Check your security settings for IE, maybe they are too high. If you are blocking cookies that may stop you from logging in too.
My problem seems to be microsoft related, I can t open anyhting to do with Microsoft, not the messenger, browser or anything. I can't access online bill pay and that makes me mad. Guess I will resort to customer service.
i've already check my IE set, all of the set at low level.
Could i copy another PC's regedit to my PC?
