is there a way to network these two computers together? for XP i choose the option of making a network not connected to the internet and it made a disk but then i put the disk into the win2k computer it says that the networking was only ment for win98 and winME computers so the network disk would not work

Just install TCP for your network cards, specify the same kind of IP addresses (192.168.*.*) and subnet mask (255.255.255.0), the same Workgroup and users (and passwords) in both machines, make sure the computers have the Server and Computer browser services started up automatically... And that's all, you can make new shares in both PCs and start "networking"...
