Disable open desktop in explorer (WXP-Pro)

i try to disable open desktop in explorer

when I type "desktop" in the host bar to explore
it opens the contents of the office in IE
I want disable this function

If you disable the address bar, it prevents typing local commands: i.e. C:\ or Control Panel
But it will still give access to internet paths.
