ok what i want is some way of closing say 20 comps at one time...i cant really preset them to ****down at a certain time because that differs from day to day. any1 have any ideas?

what i want is a file i doublw click on and wham..all shutdown...is this possible because it makes sense that microsoft should have built some function into windows to stop pll doing this but i dunno.....i have a remote administrating program(radmin) working on them all but that requires you to do each one by itself....also might be nice to indivigually select the computers from a list..say all but computer number 4 or watever.....logoff would do i supose....or even hibernate or standby...but then can i have a wake up function?....is there a prog that does all this for u?

thanks alot.

If you have admin access to the other computers, you can just use the shutdown command to shutdown a remote computer.

Being facetious. Sorry. Go back and read that sentence in your first post very carefully.

just make yourself a batchfile like this:

shutdown \\computer1
shutdown \\computer2
shutdown \\computer3

etc...etc...

then just click and run that batchfile to shutdown all the computers at once
